Even in winter, a full-day shoot moves. This day began at Lake Shikotsu and finished here, at Moerenuma Park in Sapporo.

Moerenuma is inside the city — but the snow here can pile close to a metre deep. Walk in, and the city disappears: snow-laden conifers, white birch woods, and the glass pyramid rising out of the snowfield.
